During September the city will undergo a dramatic transformation as two major parks are transformed during the main Guild festival from 31 August to 9 September. The celebration is the only Guild still celebrated in the UK and is expected to attract over 1 million visitors to Lancashire to enjoy a packed programme of cultural, civic, music, dance, comedy and sporting events.
