August 24th, 2010

new_lsc_frontage1Gresham House Plc, owners of the ex Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) site at Southern Gateway, Speke Liverpool, have announced that they intend to invest in the site to create a new science facility to be named Liverpool Science Centre. Such an investment will clearly be seen as supporting the UK Government’s science strategy and at the same time delivering a ‘state of the art’ science facility for Liverpool and the North West of England.

wh_lab_1Liverpool Science Centre (LSC) will be available in the region in the next few weeks providing clean room facilities and wet laboratory space for rent, supporting Scientific Research and Manufacturing in the UK and the R&D community in the North West Region.

Liverpool Science CentreLSC will offer fully serviced high quality clean rooms, and/or laboratory space together with associated support and office areas for short or long term leases. The Centre will be within a landscaped and secure environment with 24 hour security and car parking.

clean_roomLSC will offer generic facilities to companies that are capable of configuration from a clean room environment through to generic laboratory space to support research and manufacturing companies. Clean rooms are highly designed specialist facilities and to be able to provide them for hire offers unique opportunities not only for Liverpool but for the region and UK.

With Government cut backs and reduction in funding it is very exciting that a private Investment company is willing to invest and support Liverpool to bring life back in an area that offers many opportunities and close links to leading R&D companies, Universities, The National Biomanufacturing Facility, The National Blood Service Centre and Liverpool Science and Innovation Parks. The regional infrastructure is well developed with Liverpool airport and motorway networks nearby.

Liverpool Science CentreThe Development of LSC delivers a high quality facility from an occupant perspective that will support their businesses strategies in terms of image and brand. Facility Management services to be supplied by a specialist FM management team.
